Eaton CAT5 Network Transient Protection

The CAT5 Network Transient Protector (NTP) is designed to provide protection for CAT5 computer networks up to 100MHz. The unit provides protection for signal pairs 1 / 2 and 3 / 6 of a CAT5 cable. The unit is simply used in place of the existing patch cable from an RJ45 network connection to a workstation or peripheral network device.

The device protects workstations, printers, servers, hubs or any other protocol protocol-compatible device from potentially damaging or dangerous voltages, regardless of their source. The device cannot protect against data errors caused by an interfering source.
